FortisMate SAB Series
SSAB-PET is a high-performance single-sided self-adhesive bituminous waterproof membrane with a robust PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) protective film on the top surface and a high-tack self-adhesive bituminous layer on the bonding side.
Manufactured with high-quality modified rubberized bitumen as the core material, reinforced with a high-strength PET film, the membrane delivers outstanding waterproofing, exceptional bonding, excellent weatherability, and long-term durability. It is designed for Dry Application(with Primer) and Wet Application(with Wet Cement Mortar) installation, widely used in roof, basement, foundation, tunnel, bridge, and balcony waterproofing projects.

The birth of SSAB-PET wet-application waterproofing membranes and the technology of wet-application initiated by FortisMate have led a profound revolution in the waterproofing industry. Any defect in waterproofing layer can lead to fluid-channeling,which further make larger area of waterproofing layer even the whole could lose efficacy. And it is difficult to find out and repair the seepage spots. Judging from actual waterproofing effectiveness, to bring waterproofing layers into full play under whatever conditions and avoid fluid-channeling, the most effective and economic way is regardless of the external protection layer stuck outside or inside, to firmly and eternally stick the waterproofing layers to the beneath of the main structures like base plates of basement, side walls, head plates or roof plates. This is the waterproofing theories of “Skin Type”.
SSAB-PET wet-application waterproofing membrane is made of self-adhesive rubber bitumen as master material with highest water impermeability and cement as the cheapest adhesives, constituting the most reliable and economical waterproofing system called “Skin Type”.
On side walls, head plates and roofs of basements, with wet application of cement slurry or cement mortar, they are combined tightly into one unit with the structure, enhancing the reliability of waterproofing layer without worries about fluid-channeling.

Skin-type waterproofing · no water channeling
Bonds tightly and permanently to the substrate, forming an integrated “skin-type” waterproofing system. Eliminates water channeling between the membrane and structure, preventing large-area leakage even if minor defects occur.

Excellent adhesion to concrete, cement mortar, and moist substrates. Bonds firmly even under hydrostatic pressure, resisting peeling and delamination.

Dual waterproof barrier
When wet-laid with cement mortar, forms a flexible bituminous membrane plus a rigid cementitious layer, achieving one layer, two defenses.
Thanks to its creative efforts, FortisMate produces 2-meter-wide PET wet-application waterproofing membrane with advanced manufacturing facilities, which reduces nearly half the number of joints and half the loss on lapping them. It makes building waterproofing more time-saving, material-saving and lower seepage probabilities. Besides, its cost performance is better and reliability of waterproofing system is more secured.

Application Method
Storage and Transportation
- 1. Different types or specifications of products should be separated, not mixed.
- 2. Keep it dry and ventilated, protected from the sun or rain.
- 3. Storage temperature should never be higher than 45℃. Pile up the membranes flatwise whose stockpile height never
- exceeds five layers. One layer is guaranteed if it is placed vertically.
- 4. Prevent it from inclination or lateral pressure. If necessary, cover it with felt-cloth.
- 5. Storage time is at least one year from manufacture date on if the product is under normal operation of storage.

A 50% advance deposit is required to arrange raw materials and production after order confirmation.
